Enchanting Escape: My Unforgettable Journey to Hurawalhi Maldives

Updated: Jan 29

My experience at Hurawalhi Maldives began touching new heights of luxury and beauty right from the start of our seaplane journey from Malé, which lasted about an hour. This trip allowed us to admire the Maldivian islands from above, a charming start to our stay. We had high expectations for this trip, especially to explore the spectacular coral reef around the island and to experience the unique undersea restaurant.

Upon arrival at Hurawalhi, we were greeted by a landscape that exceeded all our imaginations. The resort's reception, open and welcoming with its sandy floor, immediately immersed us in an authentic holiday atmosphere. Walking barefoot on that fine sand marked the beginning of our dream stay.

We chose an overwater villa with a private pool and sunset view, which offered a spacious outdoor area with a table and a private infinity pool. The villa, furnished with exquisite Maldivian taste and equipped with every modern comfort, was a haven of luxury and tranquility. Each morning and evening, the breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset provided us with moments of pure magic.

The 5.8 Undersea restaurant, located beneath the water's surface, offered us an unparalleled culinary experience, surrounded by vibrant marine life. This unique dining experience was an intimate encounter with nature in an exclusive luxury setting.

The breakfast at the resort was another highlight. Winning the award for the best breakfast in the Maldives for several years, the variety and quality of the food offered were exceptional. Sitting at tables over the ocean, we enjoyed delicious banana pancakes made with island-grown bananas, watching sharks, turtles, and rays swim in the crystal-clear waters.

The activities offered by Hurawalhi enriched our experience. From excursions to swim with huge turtles and manta rays to a romantic trip to a deserted island, every day was a new and exciting adventure. The most romantic evening was a dinner on the beach, an intimate and delightful experience with a five-course menu, just steps from the water.

Exploring the coral reef of Hurawalhi was another unforgettable moment. Considered one of the best in the Maldives, the richness and variety of marine life we admired while snorkeling were extraordinary.
