Mileo Mykonos: A Romantic Sanctuary with Unparalleled Aegean Views

ree

Dear readers, you know how much I love the island of Mykonos. Every year, I try to come back because there's something magical here that always makes me feel alive and happy. But this time, we truly outdid ourselves. We chose to stay at one of the most exclusive boutique hotels on the island: Mileo Mykonos. And I can honestly say, it was one of the most romantic and relaxing experiences I've ever had in Greece.

The luxury begins the moment you arrive. The staff is smiling, welcoming, and offers you a fresh drink right away. You immediately feel that you're in a place where every detail is designed to make you feel good. The design is minimalist but carefully curated, with natural tones, raw materials, and a cozy atmosphere. There are only a few suites, so the whole place stays intimate and quiet, perfect for those seeking privacy and relaxation.

A Room Like No Other

Our room had a private terrace with a small pool and an incredible sea view. It’s hard to describe in words. Every morning we woke up with the sun slowly filling the room and the blue of the sea right in front of our eyes. Sometimes we had breakfast on the terrace, other times at the hotel’s restaurant, which truly deserves a special mention.

The restaurant at Mileo is one of those places you don't expect. Intimate, with panoramic views and dishes prepared with great care. I still remember the taste of grilled fish with lemon and olive oil – simple but perfect. Breakfast was also always fresh and varied. There’s a full à la carte menu offering delicious plates like fluffy pancakes with maple syrup, creamy avocado toast topped with poached eggs, and bowls of Greek yogurt with honey and nuts.

One morning, we treated ourselves to a floating breakfast in our private pool. The tray was heart-shaped, filled with colorful fruit, warm croissants, fresh juices, and everything we could dream of. Sipping coffee while floating in the water with that view in front of us was one of the most magical and romantic moments of our trip.

The hotel’s main pool is a dream. An infinity edge overlooks Kalo Livadi bay. We spent hours on those balinese beds, reading, swimming, or just enjoying the silence. Service is attentive but never invasive. Every moment felt like a treat. We also enjoyed a couple’s massage in the underground spa, which includes a small stone pool and soft lighting. One hour of total relaxation. Mileo is just a few minutes’ walk from Kalo Livadi beach and less than 20 minutes to Mykonos Town by scooter or quad. We spent a day wandering the white alleys of Chora, watching the sunset from Little Venice, and doing a little shopping in the cute local stores. But truthfully, we couldn’t wait to get back to our little paradise.

This hotel gave us moments of pure love, simple but unforgettable. A sunset swim, a dinner on the terrace, a slow morning with a sea view. Mileo Mykonos is more than a place to sleep – it’s an experience you carry with you.
